The Child Welfare Training Academy is responsible for training and certification of Child Welfare Trainers and administration of the State of Florida’s Child Protection Professional Certification Program.

Our Mission

To ensure that Child Welfare Trainers have the skill and support necessary to provide Child Protection Professionals with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to make decisions that provide Florida Children with safe and permanent homes.
